- Playboy competes with wild women videos
Apparently Playboy lost $12-million in the first quarter of 2001, perhaps partly due to the new kids on the block, promoting videos of flashing women. But Playboy has hit back, purchasing three hard core porn TV channels
- Explicit Spanish theatre could reach the UK
A two hour show called XXX by an experimental theatre group called La Fura dels Baus, features threesomes, foursomes, blow-jobs, cunnilingus, baked-bean sex, humour and audience participation. Apparently there is nothing that contravenes Britain's obscenity laws.

- Move to lower gay age of consent
New South Wales MPs will have a free vote to reduce the age of homosexual sex to 16, which is 16 for heterosexuals and lesbians.
- World's first elephant sperm bank created
The "kingdom of elephants", Thailand, has created a sperm bank for elephants. The Elephant Care Assembly says that it will help reduce the chances of inbreeding caused by a lack of male bulls.

A mother whose daughter was expelled from school because she was a stripper, has just appeared nude on the Playboy Web site. It goes against the school's standards. >> Presumably the school is against parents who sell tobacco and alcohol?
- Naked ice-skater reported to police
A speed-skater using the Richmond Ice Centre (Vancouver) at 2AM in the morning was surprised to see another man skating naked. The individual was not caught, and is described by police (no kidding!) as "at large".
